The UK's leading community
for digital professionals

We’re an independent, not-for-profit membership association representing UK digital. Since 1985, we’ve been empowering everyone working in digital to shape the industry for the better.

Welcoming the whole of digital

Our community is eclectic by design – a brilliant mix of agencies, brands, charities, universities and freelancers. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, and whichever corner of the industry you work in, BIMA is where you can connect, grow and shape what comes next.

Together we're driving responsible growth in UK digital through a broad range of opportunities for our members. However you're looking to get involved, there's something for everyone.

How we show up

We’re part of the communities we serve and these are the values we lead with:

Collaborative

Collaborative

We know the power of bringing different perspectives together. We’re always ready to share our knowledge and open to discovering what we don’t know.

Optimistic

Optimistic

We’re excited by innovation. We believe in the potential for creativity and technology to create digital experiences that improve lives.

Ethical

Ethical

We care about what we do. We want to do great work that benefits people and the planet.

Our key priorities

Our membership is very clear in what they need from the BIMA; to help navigate the rapid change we are all experiencing.

Our industry has always evolved but right now the speed of that evolution is unprecedented. Everyone’s job role is changing at a rapid pace and nobody wants to embark on the change alone.

BIMA provides a forum and a community to share experiences to navigate that change, and also help ensure the change is positive.

Within this overarching priority there are two key areas we are focusing on: the impact of AI and Internet safety.
